We hit a bakery coffee shop in the market area for coffee, soda, sweet rolls at a super high price. But we are ready to get on the Grayline circle tour. Once we figure it out our first stop is the Nymphenburg
Palace where we get off and have a leisurely lunch in the garden. Steve has the weisswurst and I have a sandwich of potato pancakes, chicken, cucumbers, and tomatoes with fries. Two beirs round it out. Then we tour the palace. The great Hall is the most impressive.
We finish out the Grayline tour getting a good overview of the city. We end at Marienplatz in time for the five o'clock glockenspiel show, see two of the churches, then do some grocery shopping and go back to the apartment to rest up.
Dinner is at the world famous Hofbrau house. Very crowded and noisy and we sit at a table with other tourists. Steve gets a liter of beer to go with his pork knuckle. I have Weiner schnitzel. In spite of the surly waiter the food is pretty good and the oompah band a fun touristy touch.
