Flight is a little delayed but otherwise we enjoy our Lufthansa flight. Food and wine are a bonus!
Sleep enough on plane and so we are able to figure out baggage claim, passport control, and customs, and the sbahn. It's a pleasant 40 minute ride to Marienplatz but we have to figure out how to get out of the subway station and than how to get to our apartment. Along the way we get a glimpse of the plaza, rathaus, and market. Apartment is pleasant and perfectly located, just steps from Marienplatz and we crash for a few hours.
Out for dinner and beer. Weather is perfect. We end up at Bratwursthertzl and the waiter recommends two plates of pork and wursts and local beer. It does the trick. We walk around for a while, get an ice cream and head back.
