I get my delicious coffee and then we find our Serrano and pata negra sandwiches. We stop in at churches -- first another look at St. Peter's, then a stop at the Frauenkirche and finally St. Michael's. We even buy a few souvenirs -- a Christmas ornament and a pewter souvenir.
We have our sandwiches outside in front of the Frauenkirche as it is a beautiful day.
We start at the Residenz at the Treasury which has beautiful crowns and jewels. Then we do the small theatre before tackling the main rooms which are overwhelming and they aren't all even open!
We are in need of a break now that it is 5 o'clock so stop for beer and pretzels very near by.
We get home and take a break and finally head for dinner at a place I found that looks good. And it was! Called the Konigsquelle it was the perfect choice for a last Munich meal. We had the schnitzel which the reviews said was the best in town. And it was delicious, along with fried potatoes. We also had a beautiful white fish with a delicate pink sauce and some in season white and green asparagus. Served with a dry Riesling it was top notch.
